2. Remove the cover from the computer according to the instructions in
the system user’s manual so you can access the controller.
Note:
When handling static sensitive devices, take precautions to
avoid damage from static electricity.
3. Ground yourself before you touch the controller or the Advanced
Feature Key.
4. Remove the Advanced Feature Key from the package.
5. Hold the Advanced Feature Key so that the J1 connector is up and
the connector lines up with the JT8 header on the controller, as
shown in the following figure.
6. Insert the J1 connector into the JT8 header so that the two
connectors are firmly joined.
