This section contains information on the IBM SureMark 4610 Model 1NF point-of-sale fiscal ready printer.
The IBM SureMark 4610 Model 1NF point-of-sale fiscal ready printer is a high-performance printer is
based on IBM 4610 technologies, incorporating a fiscal ready solution developed by IBM business partners
world wide having features and components that differ from the 4610 Model 1NF point-of-sale fiscal
printer.
Note: All other information concerning the general remove and replace operations, and servicing of this
printer is the same as the 1NF fiscal printer. Refer to the appropriate sections in this publication for
information on general remove and replace operations.
Fiscal base
This section provides the information needed to remove and install the fiscal base from a fiscal ready
printer.
Removing the fiscal base from a fiscal ready printer
To remove the fiscal base, complete the following steps:
1. If necessary, remove the fiscal tray from the printer (see “Removing the fiscal tray” on page 28 for
information).
