Removing the fiscal logic card
This section provides the information needed to remove the fiscal logic card from a fiscal tray provided by
IBM. If your fiscal solution is provided by an IBM business partner, see the documentation provided by the
IBM business partner for more information. The fiscal logic card is the logic card installed in the fiscal logic
tray and should not be confused with the logic card that is installed on the printer unit under the main
cover.
Note: It is not necessary to remove the program memory from the logic card to complete the steps. It is
necessary to remove the screw that secures the program memory.
To remove the fiscal logic card, complete the following steps:
1. Place the fiscal tray on a clean, flat, static-protective surface.
2. Remove the electronic journal card from the card slot and set it aside for future use.
