1. Place the printer unit upside down on a flat work surface.
2. Insert the tab of the interface card into the slot on the base of the printer.
3. Press down on the side of the interface card opposite the tab until the blue release button slider snaps
into place.
4. Install the fiscal base, main and paper door cover (see “Installing the fiscal base” on page 48,
“Installing the main cover” on page 46, and “Installing the paper door cover” on page 42 for
information).
5. Connect the printer with your system unit.
6. If you have a power cord, connect it to the printer.
