Before operational use:
When the control panels leave Holtec Automatic A/S workshop it has been cleaned and tested according to Holtec
standards.
During transport the control panel will be exposed to vibrations, dirt and dust, and some of it could possibly have
entered the control panel.
Likewise during installation this could happen. Therefore the following procedure must always be performed.
1. Control electrical joints
2. Tighten up electrical joints and connections.
3. Check cable stress reliefs.
4. Vacuum clean the control panel in de energized state. DO NOT use compressed air for cleaning.
5. Isolation test.
6. Verify protective conductors continuity.
7. Visual inspection.
8. Apply control voltage and test correct function of control circuits.
9. Check power circuits one by one.
10. Check correct function of signalling and measuring devices.
