Procedure no. 7 Replacement of Ø160 hydraulic cylinder.
The extruder plate changer
Remove one of the extruder plates [3] by loosening the 2 screws [4] and push out the
extruder plate in the opposite direction. Do also remove the outlet sprout [2]. Move the
extruder plate changer so this empty slot is in front of the barrel see instructions regarding
operation in single mode below. The extruder plate changer [1] will be loosened during this
operation. So it’s important to put a strap around it to avoid any unnecessary hazard.
The extruder plate changer can be fixated as displayed below.
