5.3.3 Modbus Settings
The following is an overview of the parameters contained in the Modbus Settings section:

Gateway Net ID
This is reserved for gateway. (Not used to set the slave device)

Protocol Exception
This parameter is used to enable or disable whether the slave response is
checked for compatibility with the Modbus RTU format. If the slave
response is an invalid Modbus message, a 0x41 exception code will be
reported.
Enable =1; Disable = 0.

CRC Exception
This parameter is used to enable or disable whether the validity of the
RTU/ASCII CRC of the slave response is checked.
0 = Returns the raw data, including the CRC, if a CRC error occurs;
1 = Reports a 0x43 exception code if a CRC error occurs;
2 = Drops the packet if a CRC error occurs.
