6 Installation
6.1 Place of installation, place of employment
This filter engine may only be operated in closed and dry rooms.
For its measurements refer to chapter 3.2.2  Measurement, page 8)
This filter engine was developed for industrial use only and may only be operated in
industrial areas.
Besides it can be used as a filter for circulating air when placed at the sheds ceiling.
Other places of installation for this use cover the use at the sheds side walls and
any other place indoor when placed on a rack.
When used directly at the spot the filter engine should be installed as close as
possible to the place of use to keep the tubes length as short as possible.
When using the engine in large filter systems pay attention to not installing the tubes
too close to the place of work. This should prevent shavings, splashes and squirts
(of oils or emulsions) to get into the engine and thus polluting it unnecessarily.
When making use of the engine for sucking off liquids there has to be a siphon filled
with liquid installed to it. This should allow the sucked off liquid to drain from the
engine.
6.2 Installation, fastening and anchoring of the filter engine
The installation of the engine may be performed by instructed personnel only
Make sure that the engine is installed in a horizontal position.
Mount separate components when the filter system is dismantled.
When installing the engine in connection with other devices, refer to the operating
instructions of the relevant manufacturer as well.
When installing the engine to the ceiling of the wall of the shed only make use
of suitable fastening elements that can support the load.
