8.2 Troubleshooting
Disturbance caused by How to solve it
No function Interrupted power supply Check the engines connection
to the power supply.
No function Interrupted power supply Switch on the master switch.
No function Triggered emergency
shutdown switch (NOT-AUS)
Remove the danger and trigger
off the emergency shutdown
switch.
Collector electrodes that are
not parallel adjusted
Adjust collector electrodes. Discharges
Metal particle or other alien
elements
Cautiously remove alien
elements.
Last quartet of the collector
electrodes that is not dry and
clean
Clean all insertions (pre-filter,
ionisation device, collector,
post-filter).
Polluted contacts and
insulation
Check all contacts and
insulation, clean and replace
them if necessary.
Reduced filter effect
High voltage transformer that
is out of order
Replace the high voltage
transformer.
Tungsten wires that are
polluted
Restore cleanness and proper
condition of all tungsten wires.
High voltage supply out of
order
Check if the high voltage
supply cables are out of order
and replace them if necessary.
