8 Disturbances, troubleshooting
8.1 Avoiding disturbances
Before starting services like maintenance, inspection or repair
switch the engine to tension free mode. This is also valid for
services outside of the engine.
We advice against the use of tools like e.g. screwdrivers
between the collector electrodes. Do not try to clean the
electrodes with such tools!
Avoid shakings of the compact cell.
Moreover the compact cell should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 70 to
80 C.
Even slightest damages caused by improper cleaning reduces the working and
filtering ability of the engine.
