specication table in this manual.
Follow instructions for lubricating and chain tension
checking and adjustment.
After each use, clean the machine with a soft dry cloth.
Remove any chips, dirt and debris.
Check all nuts, bolts, and screws at frequent intervals
for security to ensure the machine is in safe working
condition. Any part that is damaged should be properly
repaired or replaced by an service station.
WARNING
Wear protective gloves.
A dull or improperly sharpened chain can cause
excessive motor speed during cutting which may
result in severe motor damage.
Failure to replace or repair a damaged chain can
cause serious injury.
The saw chain is sharp. Always wear protective
gloves when performing maintenance to the chain.
Set idle speed
If the cutter moves with the engine at minimum speed,
please contact your dealer or our customer service for the
correct engine setting.
Carburettor setting
The carburettor is adjusted at the factory so that maximum
performance is always achieved in every operating
situation, with a minimum release of harmful gases and in
accordance with the applicable standards. In the event of
poor performance, contact your dealer or our after-sales
service for a check of the carburettor and engine.
Inspecting and cleaning the chain
brake
Clean chips, resin and dirt from the chain brake and clutch
drum. Dirt and wear impair the brake function. Always test
the functionality of the chain brake after cleaning.
Regularly check that the brake band thickness at the most
worn point is still at least 0.6 mm at the most worn point.
Activate the chain brake at full throttle by turning the
left wrist against the hand guard. The chain should stop
immediately.stop.

DISPOSAL
If your device should become useless somewhere in the
future or you do not need it any longer, do not dispose of
the device together with your domestic refuse, but dispo-
se of it in an environmentally friendly manner. Thoroughly
empty the oil/lubricant and fuel tanks and dispose of the
remainders at a special collecting point or dump. Please
dispose of the device itself at an according collecting/
recycling point. By doing so, plastic and metal parts can
be separated and recycled. Information concerning the
disposal of materials and devices are available from your
local administration.
Never dispose of oils, fuel or other polluting materials in
unauthorised places.
Make sure the oil products do not enter the soil.
Oil products must not come into contact with skin, eyes
and clothing.
Disposal of the saw-chain oil
Improper disposal of used oil endangers the environment!
It is forbidden to mix used oils with other wastes. Unused
saw chain oil must not be allowed to enter the sewage
system, bodies of water or soil and must be disposed of at
municipal pollutant collection points
