Do not allow the accumulation of threads around the machinery.
For daily cleaning use a soft, moistened cloth. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive sponges, solvents, or metal
objects.
EVERY DAY:
Remove any dust or fabric residues that may have settled on the temperature probe holder, so as to maintain good
contact between the support plate and the surface of the ironing roller.
Eliminate any residues of dust or fabric that may have settled on the side and rear filters in order to maintain a free
passage of air inside the carpentry of the machine.
Perform the same cleaning operation on all metal detachers.
The operation must be carried out, slightly lifting the detachers, one by one, and freeing them from the dust deposits
that can be deposited between the detacher itself and the surface of the ironing roller.
- EVERY MONTH:
Perform the cleaning of the fans for the extraction of moist air and fumes (the latter only if present), eliminating all the
deposits that may form there.
Keep all moving mechanical parts lubricated (sprockets, bearings, side satellite bearings).
The gearbox is permanently lubricated and therefore does not require maintenance.
- EVERY THREE MONTHS:
Proceed to clean the inner surface of the ironing roller by eliminating any dust residues.
Check that the outer surface of the roller has not been corroded, worn out and that there are no melted parts of glued
fabric.
- EVERY SIX MONTHS:
The bearings should be strengthened and, if necessary, greased.
- TENSIONING AND REPLACEMENT OF INTRODUCTION BANDS (if necessary):
To tension the introducing bands act on the position of the introduction table. The table is fixed by means of two b-
screws at its ends.
To tension the introduction bands, loosen the two b-roller screws (see figure), change the position of the introduction
table (pushing it forward), and finally close the two Allen screws. Disassemble the introduction and collection slides.
To replace the introducing bands, proceed to the elimination of the existing ones. Remove the cover-basin element to
facilitate access. Insert the introduction bands between the separation pins under the introduction table. Close the bands,
with the appropriate Nomex wire, above the introduction roller.
