Place the mounting bracket and mark screw holes following the 'UP' direction.
Attach an angled mounting wedge to the bracket for view adjustment.
Drill holes and insert anchors for stucco, brick, or concrete.
Lead wires through the bracket and secure it to the surface with screws.
Loosen screws, loop wires underneath, and tighten to secure power.
Connect extension wires with wire nuts if existing wires are short.
Push wiring back, place doorbell on tabs, and slide down to secure.
Insert pin into the bottom hole to release the doorbell.
Remove chime cover and loosen 'FRONT' and 'TRANS' terminal screws.
Connect the wire harness to the chime kit and terminals.
Attach the kit inside the chime box and replace the cover.
Check power source compatibility and breaker status.
Verify router connectivity, restart the device, or reset if offline.
Ensure app/device notifications are enabled and activity zones are set.
Update via Imou Life app; a red dot indicates availability.
Check Wi-Fi range and ensure LED is flashing green before setup.
Connect positive/negative wires correctly to avoid danger.
Verify chime linking in app and correct wiring.
