Draining Water (Continued)
CAUTION
Make sure to close the water
shutoff valve when removing
the strainer inside the water
shutoff valve.
Make sure to install the strainer
evenly on all sides.
Check that there is no dirt
remaining on the O-ring before
installing the strainer.
* Check that the O-ring is free from
foreign materials as failure to do
so may result in water leakage and
ooding.
OBSERVE
Possibility of Freezing Water
Drain the water in the toilet bowl and use anti-
freeze solution or a bath towel to plug the drain
outlet.
* Do not ush the anti-freeze solution.
Collect the anti-freeze solution and dispose
appropriately.
Failure to dispose of anti-freeze solution
properly can affect the septic tank and pollute
the environment.
* Make sure to completely plug the drain outlet.
Failure to do so allows odors and insects to get
into the area.
Water must be removed from the water supply
pipe. If you have a toilet bowl with a drain valve,
use the water drain plug in your building to drain
water from the water supply pipe in addition to
the previously described procedure.
