Grenadier. The driver must remain vigilant and in control.
Downhill Assist will not activate if:
Your Grenadier is traveling forward faster than 15 mph ,
or reversing faster than 6 mph .
The front or rear axle dierential is locked.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is deactivated.
To Activate
Downhill Assist, press the DOWNHILL button on the
Overhead Control Panel.
When active, the Center Display and Touchscreen will include the
Downhill Assist
symbol in green next to the speed. The same
symbol will ash when Downhill Assist is in control of braking.
Set the downhill speed using the RES+ and SET- buttons on the
steering wheel.
To Deactivate Downhill Assist, press the DOWNHILL button again.
Downhill Assist
will also deactivate automatically if the driver
accelerates over 15 mph forward or 6 mph reverse, ESC O is
pressed, or if axle dierential locks are engaged.
UPHILL ASSIST
Uphill Assist is a driving aid designed to hold the vehicle for a
short time when climbing a hill. It is the driver’s responsibility to
