make sure that the vehicle does not roll back even when the
feature is active.
The appropriate gear
must be selected depending on the direction
of travel for the feature to become active. Uphill assist is not
available when neutral is selected. If the rear and/or front
dierential is locked, then Uphill Assist will not be available. If the
vehicle is in gear, and there is a gradient of 3% or more detected,
then the vehicle is held stationary for two seconds after the brake
pedal is released.
RAISED AIR INTAKE (If equipped)
Raising the position of the engine air intake helps feed the engine
with cleaner and cooler air in dusty environments. The Raised Air
Intake does not improve wading performance or maximum
wading depth.
RAISED AIR INTAKE CYCLONE PRE-CLEANER (If equipped)
This attachment uses cyclone technology to spin the air at high
speed before it enters the raised air intake air duct.. This provides
a centrifugal eect to any dust and dirt, preventing contaminants
from entering the engine air intake. This is recommended for very
dusty and dirty environments.
