To pair your remote controls with your winches:
1.
LABEL each remote
control. It is important that the front
winch and rear winch are controlled by separate
remotes, and equally important to know which is which.
2.
Pair the Front Integrated Heavy-Duty Winch and remote
control rst.
3.
Disconnect the Removable Rear Winch power cable from
your Grenadier.
4.
Follow the Pairing instructions below to pair the front
winch with the front winch remote control.
5.
Pair the Removable Rear Winch and remote control
second.
6.
Make sure the Removable Rear Winch power cable
remains disconnected from the previous step.
7.
Start the Engine.
8.
Shift the transmission to N (Neutral) and set the parking
brake.
9.
Switch on the winch circuit isolator in the Overhead
Control Panel, labeled EXT4.
10.
Wait for one minute to allow the Front Integrated Heavy
Duty Winch control unit to exit pairing mode.
11.
Press and hold the power button (1) on the winch
remote for the rear winch for three seconds to turn it on.
The LED (2) will illuminate.
12.
Press
and
hold
the Spool In (3) and Spool Out (4) remote
control buttons simultaneously.
13.
While continuing to hold the remote control buttons,
reconnect the Removable Rear Winch power cable to the
Grenadier. The rear winch will now power up in pairing
mode.
14.
Wait three seconds, and then release the remote control
buttons.
15.
Test the control of the rear winch with the remote
control.
ATTACHMENT DEVICES
Always use a RED Winch S-Ring 50 snatch ring in the soft loop at
the end of the winch rope. Do not use any other attachment.
WARNING: Use of any other attachment increases the
risk of serious injury and death.
OPERATING A WINCH
There are risks associated with any use of a winch. Use a
winch only when necessary.
Unload your Grenadier as much as possible before
winching. Any load
in your Grenadier adds to the load on
the winch.
