Using your key
To unlock doors:
Press and release the Lock Button once to unlock only
the driver’s
door. The headlights will turn on for a short
period of time to illuminate the space ahead. Exterior
lights will ash briey to conrm your Grenadier’s doors
have locked.
Press the Unlock Button twice to unlock all doors
including the rear. The lights will react the same way.
Or insert the Key Blade into the driver’s lock to unlock all
doors.
To lock doors:
Press and release Lock button to lock all doors, including
the rear,
and arm the security system. Exterior lights will
ash briey.
Or insert the Key Blade into the driver’s lock to lock all
doors. Note
that the alarm system will not activate
unless all doors are locked.
To use the Panic Button:
Press the Panic button once to activate. You need not
keep it
pressed. The horn will sound, and exterior lights
will ash for three minutes.
Press any button or switch the ignition on to turn the
panic alarm o.
To expose the Key Blade, press the Key Blade button on the key
housing. The
key blade will spring out and lock in the extended
position.
To put the Key Blade back into the housing, press and hold the
Key Blade button while gently pressing the key blade edge to pivot
it back inside.
Anti-theft immobilizer
Your Grenadier has a passive anti-theft immobilizer system and
will start only with the special keys provided. Each key contains an
electronic chip. The lock works both as a standard lock and a
communicator, syncing with the key's electronics. The ignition,
fuel, and starter only activate with an "authorized" key.
Replacement keys
You can purchase replacement keys from an INEOS dealer. An
INEOS dealer can program replacement keys to work with your
Grenadier.
Key battery replacement
Your Grenadier key is battery powered. If you nd that its
electronic functions are not working or its range is reduced,
replace the battery.
Changing the battery won’t aect the key’s programming. It will
continue to work with your Grenadier.
