Fuel level warnings will be displayed in three stages as fuel is
depleted:
1.
“Remaining Range”
will turn orange when you have
between 40 and 70 miles of estimated range remaining.
2.
“Refuel soon” will also appear when you have between
40 miles and 70 miles of estimated range remaining.
3.
“Refuel now” will appear when you have less than 40
miles of estimated range remaining and the reserve fuel
is being used.
NOTE: Avoid triggering the Refuel Now signal. Do not run
the fuel out completely. Running the fuel too low
increases the risk of clogging the fuel tank lter and
otherwise disabling the engine.
Fueling at a gas pump
Switch o the ignition.
Leave your cell phone in your Grenadier. If there is a risk
that you
are carrying static electricity, ground yourself by
touching some metal object that is connected to the
ground before you open the fuel door.
Don’t smoke or let anyone else smoke or have open
ame or sparks or devices that can cause such nearby.
The fuel door is located at the rear passenger side of
your Grenadier.
Your Grenadier must be unlocked to
open the fuel door. Push the rear edge of the fuel door
inward and release. The fuel door will pop open.
Turn the fuel cap counterclockwise slowly to open.
Once the cap is removed, place it in the receptacle
provided on the inside of the fuel door.
Insert the pump nozzle into the fuel ller inlet
and
dispense fuel. Fuel pumps have an automatic cut o
when the tank is full. Do not continue fueling past a full
tank because this will lead to spillage.
Remove and replace the lling nozzle.
Replace the fuel cap and push the fuel door closed.
