circumstances, place a child in a rear-facing infant seat in the front
passenger seat.
All children
must be seated in a Rear-Facing Car Seat, a Forward-
Facing Car Seat, or a Booster Seat if:
Required by state law ; or
If recommended by NHTSA ; or
If unable to sit properly and be properly belted (see the
Putting on
a seat belt subsection below) in a Grenadier
seat and seat belt.
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions and
precautions may result in serious injury and death.
Adjusting a front seat
To adjust the horizontal position of a front seat:
Make sure that your Grenadier is stopped and in P (Park).
Unlock the forward/rearward seat lock by pulling up on
the bar just under the front of the seat cushion.
Slide the seat forward or rearward to a safe position.
Release the handle to lock the seat into position.
Make sure that the seat is locked in position by trying to
move it
forward and rearward before your Grenadier is
taken out of P (Park) and moved.
To adjust the vertical position of a front seat:
Make sure that your Grenadier is stopped and in P (Park).
Lift the handle on the outboard side of the seat pan to
pump the seat upward.
