4 System Monitoring
The EonStor DS series is equipped with a variety of self-monitoring features that help
keep system managers aware of system operation statuses.
4.1 Monitoring Features
You may monitor the system through the following features:
Firmware: The RAID controller in the system is managed by a pre-installed
firmware, which is accessible in a terminal program via the serial port. For more
details, see the Firmware manual in the CD-ROM.
SANWatch: SANWatch is a Java-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) that can
