ST400 Orientation: Refer to Dwg. 47615017-2 (SAE 3) or 47615017-3 (SAE 1). The ange is fully
adjustable, housing is marked every 30 degrees. If orientation angle is not specied you will
receive -000 like shown. The inlet and exhaust is none adjustable.

Orientation of the Starter
If the factory orientation will not t your engine, the ange may be adjusted by following these
three steps.
- Loosen the six ange screws
- Rotate ange to desired location
- Apply tread locker to threads and torque screws to torque to 14 lb-ft (19 Nm)

and parts be separated by material for proper recycling.
