  If you're having trouble opening the Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker lid, it could be due to pressure still inside the cooker. Use the steam release handle to completely release the internal pressure before attempting to open it. Alternatively, the float valve might be stuck in the popped-up position; try gently pressing it down using a pen or chopstick.

  If you are finding it difficult to close the lid of your Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker, it might be because the sealing ring is not correctly positioned. Make sure the sealing ring is properly installed. Another possible reason is that the float valve is in the popped-up position. In this case, press the float valve lightly downwards.
