      If steam is escaping from the steam release valve on your Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker while the quick release button is in the Seal position, it could be due to a few reasons: * There may not be enough liquid in the inner pot. * The steam release valve might not be seated properly. To resolve this: 1. Add thin, water-based liquid to the inner pot according to its size: 6 Qt: 1 ½ cups (375 mL /~12 oz) 8 Qt: 2 cups (500 mL /~16 oz). 2. Ensure the quick release button is securely in the Seal position.
