Occasional
clicking or light

Float valve
does not rise
Food debris on float valve or
surrounding area
Remove float valve from lid, clean float valve,
silicone cap, and surrounding area on lid
Replace the float valve
Float valve silicone cap worn out
Too little liquid in inner pot
Add requisite minimum 1.5 cups
(375mL / 12oz) of a thin liquid to inner pot
Open and close the lid completely
Ensure detachable power cord is plugged
tightly into base power socket. Try the
cooker on other outlets
Contact the Customer Care Team
This is normal. The clicking sound is the result
of the power relay working
Wipe bottom side of inner pot before placing
on element
Float valve obstructed by
lid-locking mechanism
Bad power connection or
no power
Lights flash and

Make sure the lid is closed properly. Do not
use the lid during the Sauté Smart Program

because there is not enough
pressure
Stir food to avoid burning and add water
as necessary
Add a minimum 1.5 cups (375 mL / 12oz) of a
thin liquid to the inner pot

Press the Cancel key and allow the cooker to
cool for 60 minutes. Contact the Customer
Care Team if pressure is not fully released
