Threaded Couplings
A threaded coupling is typically used for attaching the grips to a servohydraulic test
system. Figure 6 on page 27 illustrates a threaded coupling. A servohydraulic
attachment kit uses a female clevis socket which threads into the actuator or load cell.
You eliminate any end play by tightening a locknut against the actuator piston rod or
load cell and the grip locknut against the grip adapter.
