Installing the Spacers and Side Plates
The 2716-020 (50 kN) wedge grips come with a spacer that enables you to use a greater
variety of specimen thicknesses. The grips can be used either with the spacer for
thinner specimens, or without the spacer for thicker specimens.Table 4 on page 22
summarizes the ranges of specimen thickness available with and without the spacer.
