Installing a PCI Express Full-Mini LAN Card
To install a PCI Express Full-Mini Card wireless LAN card on the Desktop Board, see
Figure 17 and follow these steps:
1. Observe the
precautions in "Before You Begin" on page 27.
2. Locate
the PCI Express Mini Card slot (see Figure 1, J).
3. Remove the
mounting post (Figure 17, A) by turning it counter clockwi
se as
indicated.
4. Insert the wireless LAN card into the PCI Express Mini Card connector
(Figure 17, B) at a sligh
tly upward angle.
5. Align the mounting holes with the posts (Figure 17, C) and secure
the card with
two screws.
6. Attach your system’s antenna wires to the connectors (Figure 17, D) on the
wireless LA
N card as shown.
