(12) ESATA Port: ESATA1 (Optional) ,US1
This connector supports the External Serial ATA2 (eSATA) enable the full SATA interface
speed outside the chassis, up to 3Gb/s. The ESATA port can be enabled only when the
SATA 7 is connected to one of SATA1-SATA6
(13 )Serial COM Port Connectors: COM1
Serial COM ports are the 9-pin D-Subminiature male connectors. The On-board serial port
can be disabled through BIOS SETUP. Please refer to Chapter 3 “INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS
SETUP” section for more detail information
(14) SPDIF In/Out coaxial connectors: SPDIF In/SPDIF Out
The SPDIF output is capable of providing digital audio to external speakers or compressed
AC3 data to an external Dolby digital decoder. Use this feature only when your stereo system
has digital input function. Use SPDIF IN feature only when your device has digital output
function.
