3.2.7 16x2.5” Hot-swap SAS/SATA HDD with Combo PCIe* SFF (NVMe) SSD / SAS Backplane (iPC FUP8X25S3HSDK) cable guide
The 8x2.5” combo backplane kit is capable of supporting a combination of both SAS devices and up to four PCIe* SFF (Small Form Factor) (NVMe) SSD drives
All eight drive connectors are capable of supporting a SAS device, but only four include SFF8639 connectors that can support PCIe* SFF (NVMe) SSDs
The PCIe* x16 interface add-in card MUST be installed on a x16 PCIe physical/electrical slot. Refer to the S2600CW Family TPS for more information.
The system is limited to supporting only one combo backplane kit in addition to one or two other backplane options.
