  A slow water flow could be due to several reasons. Check for clogged inlet or discharge and clear any obstructions in the intake hose. Look for air leaks on the intake line and tighten hose nuts, inspect hoses for damage, and check the pool water level. If the pool is excessively dirty, clean the pre-filtering basket more often. Backwash the filter if the sand media is clogged with dirt. Ensure the nozzle is at the upper position of the pool inlet and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet. Remove about 1” of sand if there's crusting or caking on the filtering sand surface. Also, remove any pool vacuuming device attached to the system line. Finally, ensure the inlet threaded air connector is connected to the pool inlet upper hole.

  A leaking 6-way valve cover could be due to a missing sand tank o-ring, so remove the 6-way valve cover and make sure the o-ring is in place. It could also be that the sand tank o-ring is dirty, in that case clean it with garden hose water. Another cause could be that the flange clamp is not tight, so tighten it securely.

  If the inlet threaded air connector or air jet valve of your Intex Swimming Pool is leaking, tighten or reinstall the plunger valve. Tighten the air jet valve and make sure it’s facing up. If the air jet valve internal seal is locked, turn the pump ON and run for few seconds, then turn OFF, repeat 3 times. Remove the air jet valve, flush dirt out with water and replace the valve back if the air jet valve internal seal is dirty.

  Several factors can lead to insufficient chlorine levels. One potential cause is chlorine loss due to intense sunlight exposure. Using a pool cover when the pool is not in use and/or when the unit is operating can help. If the bather load has increased, increasing the daily Saltwater System operating time may be necessary. Also, a clogged or dirty electrolytic cell can be the culprit, so remove the cell for inspection and clean it if necessary. High UV level exposure can also be a factor; in this case, cover the pool with a pool cover for 2 days with the device running and then test the water using the test strips. If the pool is clean and clear, add stabilizer to the water and then test the water with the device running.
