6.3 Commissioning
1. Switch on drive system.
2. Carry out a braking test, if necessary, reduce brake torque.
6.4 During operation
Danger!
The running rotor must not be touched.
Danger!
Live connections must not be touched.
| Check the brake regularly during operation. Take special care of:
– unusual noises or temperatures
– loose fixing elements
– the condition of the electrical cables.
| The armature plate must be attracted and the drive must move without residual
torque.
| Measure the DC voltage a t the brake.
– Compare the DC voltage measured with the voltage specified on the nameplate. A
±10 % deviation is permissible.
