On the Surgeon Console touchpad Instrument tab, in the endoscope arm pod, the surgeon can
activate Firefly and adjust background brightness.
On the Vision Cart touchscreen Display tab, the surgeon can activate Firefly and adjust the Firefly
image:
• Firefly OFF/ON
• Firefly Intensity
• Background Brightness
Activate Firefly at Surgeon Console
The Firefly Imaging System can be activated on the Surgeon Console using the touchpad or the
hand control (master) finger clutches (switches).
Note: By default, the hand control finger clutches are not enabled to toggle between visible
light and Firefly imaging while you press the endoscope control pedal. The ability to use the
hand control finger clutches to toggle between visible light and Firefly imaging is set up at
the Surgeon Console touchpad. For details on setting up and using the hand control finger
clutches, see the section Toggle Between Firefly and Visible Light Imaging on page 16.
