acceptresponsibilityfordamagecausedbymisuseornon-observance
oftheinstructionssetoutinthisuserguide.

Allproductsintherangeareindividuallytestedasacompositein

1.4Intendeduse
Thispressureredistributionmattressisintendedtobeusedin
conjunctionwithanappropriatelysizedbedframe,aspartofan
overallpressureulcerpreventionprogramofcare.
Anyotheruseisprohibited.
Thisproducthasbeendesignedtodelivereffectivepressure
reductiontousers,whentheproductisinnormalusewhichis
definedbyInvacareLtdaswhenthesupportsurfaceiscoveredwith
acotton,cottoncombinationorlinenbedsheet,andanyoneof
thesewouldbetheonlyitemdeployedbetweenthesupportsurface
andtheuser.
1.5Servicelife
Weestimatealifeexpectancyoffiveyearsfortheseproducts,
providedtheyareusedinstrictaccordancewiththeintended
useassetoutinthisdocumentandallmaintenanceandservice
requirementsaremet.Theestimatedlifeexpectancycanbe
exceedediftheproductiscarefullyusedandproperlymaintained,and
providedtechnicalandscientificadvancesdonotresultintechnical
limitations.Thelifeexpectancycanalsobeconsiderablyreduced
byextremeorincorrectusage.
Thefactthatweestimatealifeexpectancyfortheseproductsdoes
notconstituteanadditionalwarranty.
