2. Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” (I) position.
3. Flip the fuel source switch on the side panel to the
gasoline position.
4a.1 Move the choke lever to the “START” position.

4a.3 Do not over-choke. As soon as engine starts and
warms up, move the choke lever to the “RUN”
position. Allow generator to run at no load for few
minutes upon each initial start-up to permit
engine and generator to stabilize.
4b. Electric Start (Gasoline)
4a.2 Flip the engine switch to the “RUN” position.
Pull the starter cord slowly until resistance is felt
and then pull rapidly.

4b.3 Do not over-choke. As soon as engine starts and
warms up, move the choke lever to the “RUN”
position. Allow generator to run at no load for few
minutes upon each initial start-up to permit
engine and generator to stabilize.

4b.2 Flip and hold the switch on the “START”
position. Engine will crank and attempts to start.
When the engine starts, release the switch to the
“RUN” position.
4b.1 Move the choke lever to the “START” position.
