Hazard Information
Hazard information includes terms, symbols, and instructions used in this manual, or on the
equipment, to alert both operating and service personnel to the recommended precautions in
the care, use, and handling of Class 4 laser equipment.
Terms
Certain terms are used throughout the manual or on the equipment labels. Please familiarize
yourself with their definitions and significance.
Danger Imminent hazards which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious
injury.
Warning Potential hazards which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious
injury.
Caution Potential hazards or unsafe practices which, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
