1. Turn the thumb screw counterclock-
wise until the U-shaped locking hardware
completely detaches from the slots of the
folding mechanism.
2. Fold down the steering stem while flipping
the safety lever forward.
3. Adjust the ring on it so that the ring is
hooked when lifting the steering stem.
