3. New Battery’s Usage
To break in the new battery for maximum efficiency, please follow
the notes here below:
• Fully charge any new battery prior to its initial use. This brings the
battery up to about 90% of its peak performance level.
• Operate your scooter throughout house and yard. Drive slowly at
first, and do not drive too far until you can skillfully drive your
scooter and know how to control the driving distance from the
battery indicator.
• Charge the battery for another 10-12 hours and drive the scooter
again. The battery will now perform at over 90% of its potential.
• After four or five charging and discharging cycles, the battery pack
will top off at 100% charge and last for an extended battery life.
4. Overload Protector
The overload protector is a safety device on the battery pack. When
overload occurs, this protector will automatically trip to protect the
motor and other electronic devices. When the protector trips, your
scooter will power off immediately. You should wait a minute at least
before you can press the button on the protector to resume it. Then,
you can turn on the scooter again and drive normally.
5. Charging port
The charging port is used to connect to the charger. During charging,
you cannot drive the scooter.
WARNING!
A wrong connection may cause damage to the
charger.
