(6) Checking ladder logic
Monitor the ladder logic using iCEP or the PLC manufacturer’s software to confirm intended
operation.
* How to monitor Ladder with iCEP
1. iCEP: Refer to “iCEP User Manual.”
2. PLC: Refer to the PLC manual.
(7) Checking the PROFINET I/O for PROFINET communication
This section is only for the case when driving by PROFINET I/O.
Check if the PROFINET I/O communication is established by checking LEDs on the PLC or any
other method.

When the PROFINET I/O is not established
Check if the PROFINET I/O settings are correct.
Refer to “Connecting to the PROFINET capable PLC” documentation.
Check “2.5 When communication cannot be established.” if the PROFINET I/O settings are
correct.
・
When the I/O connection is established
Make sure that there are no problems in the PLC control (ladder logic).
Refer to data configuration in “Connecting to the PROFINET capable PLC” documentation for the
data structure of PROFINET I/O.
