2.5 When communication cannot be established
Check the communication settings (setting for sending/receiving properties for iCEP and
PROFINET I/O settings for PLC).
Check the following section if there is no problem in these settings.
2.6 Communication between the PC and IBs (firewall setting)
When iCEP performs communication with IBs for the first time, the following window(*) is displayed
Click Allow access.
If Cancel is clicked by mistake, permit the communication with iCEP from Firewall in the Control
Panel as shown below(*).
(1) Check the display of LAN LED and ACT LED on the communication board.
If the LEDs do not flash, LAN cable might be disconnected. Ensure the LAN cable is firmly
connected.
