It could be that the humidity in the room has reached the set level; in this case, you can select a lower humidity setting. Alternatively, the ambient temperature might be too low or too high. If it's too low, wait for the room to warm up. If it's too high, move the unit to a cooler spot and wait ten minutes before resuming. Also, a dirty air filter or covered air inlet/outlet can cause this issue, so clean the air filter and make sure nothing is obstructing the air inlets and outlets.
