What to do if the IVT Air Conditioner remote control signal is not received?
    • C
      Carrie CookJul 31, 2025
If the IVT Air Conditioner remote control signal isn't being received, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the batteries aren't dead by installing new ones, making sure they are installed in the correct direction. Also, check if any lighting fixtures are too close or if a fluorescent lamp is flickering; if so, change the light position or install a new fluorescent lamp. If a Sevick light (Hitachi) is in use, replace it or change its position. Ensure you are operating the remote from an appropriate position/angle. Finally, check for open or short circuits in the wiring of the light receiving section and replace the wires if necessary.

Why does the compressor of my IVT 12PHR-N not start?
    • M
      Michael BlackburnAug 4, 2025
Several issues can prevent the compressor in your IVT Air Conditioner from starting. Check for erroneous inter-unit connections and correct the wiring. A damaged IPM, dried-up electrolytic capacitor, or a blown outdoor unit fuse could also be the cause; in these cases, replace the IPM, electrolytic capacitor, or fuse/diode bridge (also consider replacing the outdoor unit PWB assembly). Ensure the power supply voltage is 200V or higher. Finally, compressor lock, a temperature fuse error, EEEPROM error, or AC over current error might be the problem; try applying an external impact to the compressor or replacing the compressor. You might also need to replace the terminal or outdoor unit PWB.

How to reduce noise in TV/radio caused by IVT Air Conditioner?
    • C
      Chelsea WeberAug 8, 2025
To reduce noise in your TV/radio caused by the IVT Air Conditioner, ensure the grounding wires are properly connected. Also, try moving the TV/radio further away from the outdoor unit.

What to do if IVT 12PHR-N Air Conditioner stops and restarts repeatedly?
    • P
      patty84Aug 13, 2025
If your IVT Air Conditioner stops and restarts every few minutes, this could be due to a dried-up electrolytic capacitor, which would require replacing the electrolytic capacitor. Another possible cause is a layer short-circuit in the expansion valve coil, in which case you should replace the coil.

Why louvres of my IVT 12PHR-N Air Conditioner do not move?
    • A
      Angela ClarkAug 17, 2025
If the louvres on your IVT Air Conditioner aren't moving, check if they are caught in the sliding section and remove or correct any obstructions. Also, ensure the connectors (CN13, CN16, CN19) on the relay PWB are correctly installed on the louver motor side. Finally, check for any contact of solder on the PWB (connector section on PWB) and correct the contacting section.

Why the indoor unit fan speed of my IVT 12PHR-N Air Conditioner does not change?
    • L
      laurentownsendAug 21, 2025
If the indoor unit fan speed of your IVT Air Conditioner isn't changing, it could be due to an open-circuit in, or disconnection of, the heat exchanger thermistor (TH2) during heating operation. In this case, replace the thermistor or install it correctly. It is also possible that the remote control is not designed to allow fan speed changes in the current operation mode, so this should be explained to the user.

How to fix an IVT Air Conditioner indoor unit that does not turn on?
    • A
      Abigail EvansAug 26, 2025
If the indoor unit of your IVT Air Conditioner does not turn on, it could be due to a cracked PWB (cracked pattern), or an open-circuit in FU1 (250 V, 3.15 A). In either case, replace the PWB.
