(fig. 32) Upon completion of the cycle, the LED on the re-
ceiver goes off. About 30 seconds after the pump shuts down,
the display shows the message TIME 00. The tub can now be
emptied.
Starting up with the button
(fig. 33) When the remote control is not available, it is nonethe-
less possible to start the sanitizing cycle using the button on
the recharger, near the respective symbol.
Hold the button down for about 4 seconds and the cycle
will start. The operating modes are the same as those indicat-
ed for the remote control. When the LED for the button goes
off, the tub can be emptied.
• During operation it is not possible to activate the various
hydromassage cycles or the
®
function. It is however possible
to use the radio.
• The sanitizing cycle can only be interrupted by disconnect-
ing the electrical power supply.
• If the sanitizing cycle does not start, check that there is
enough water in the tub and/or that the disinfectant liquid in
the tank has not run out.
In any case refer to the chapter on dealing with problems.
Models with no sanitizing system.
If the tub is not equipped with it, the water circuit can be
sanitized manually.
Jacuzzi suggests using “Actisan Bath” disinfectant liquid
(available from authorized service centres) and running the
cycle about once a month (if the tub is used privately).
Fill the tub (with no one in it) until covering the dorsal out-
lets. The same water used for the hydromassage can be used,
possibly adding the amount required to reach the necessary
level.
Pour directly into the water 50-70 ml of disinfectant liquid
(using the measuring cup provided with the bottle).
Start the MIX cycle for about two minutes, so that the liq-
uid is evenly distributed throughout the water circuit. Let the
liquid act for about 10-15 minutes.
After this time, open the tub drain, so as to drain out all of
the water.
