• Immediatelycallyourgassupplierfroma
neighbor’sphone.Followthegassupplier’s
instrucons.
• Ifyoucannotreachyour gassupplier,callthe
firedepartment.

3. Locatethemanualgasvalveonthesideofthe
heater.Turnthemanualvalveclockwisetothe
fullOFFposion.


1. STOP!Readthesafetyinformaonabove.
2. Setthethermostattolowestseng.
3. Turnoffallelectricpowertotheapplianceusing
thePowerbuon.
4. Thisapplianceisequippedwithanigniondevice
whichautomacallylightstheburner.Donottry
tolighttheburnerbyhand.
5. Locatethemanualgasvalveonthesideofthe
heater.Turnthemanualvalveclockwisetothe
fullOFFposion.
6. Waitfive(5)minutestoclearoutanygas.Then
smellforgas,includingnearthefloor.Ifyousmell

gas,STOP!Follow“B”inthesafetyinformaon
above.Ifyoudon’tsmellgas,gotothenextstep. 
7. Turnthemanualgasvalvecounterclockwiseto
thefullONposion.
8. Turnonallelectricpowertotheappliance using
thePowerbuon.
9. Setthe
thermostattodesiredseng.
10. Openahotwatertap.Iftheappliancewillnot
operate,followtheinstrucons“ToTurnOffGas
ToAppliance”andcallyourlicensedprofessional
orgassupplier.Seemanualforaddional
informaon.
