It is possible to vary the ltering cycle setting parameters at any
time by following the procedure provided at the beginning of this
chapter. By modifying these parameters, time “0” is “shifted”
to the time in which the new values are saved.
■
suspending tHe filtering cycles
Activating the hydromassage stops the ltration cycle, but it
resumes about 5 minutes after the function has turned o.
Moreover, with these models, the “silence” mode also sus-
pends the ltering cycle (refer to the respective section for fur-
ther details).
The ltering cycle may be suspended by the anti-freeze pro-
tection (“Smart Winter”) or due to overheated water. Refer to the
respective chapters.
■
filter and selector valve
The lter consists of a thermoplastic container, an internal distribu-
tion system and a selector valve.
The selector valve lever must be left in the “ltration” posi-
tion when using the hot tub.
The selector valve function must be changed with the lter
pump stopped, in order to avoid damage.
m
CAUTION: the pumps must be stationary before using
the selector valve.
The functions you can activate using the selector valve handle are:
“Winter” position: only needed when the hot tub is not used; it
helps to fully empty the water from the lter.
“Filtration” position: normal position during use. The pump
forces the water from the hot tub through the ltering materi-
al; the water is then collected in the lower ltering units in the
internal distribution system; nally, the water comes back up
through the return coupler and re-enters via the nozzles.
“Backwash” position: the pump drives the water into the lter
and is carried in the opposite direction to the ltering action,
so as to clean the lter itself. In this case, the water enters the
lter via the central pipe, leaves via the lower ltering units in
the internal distribution system, comes up through the ltering
material and exits via the coupler the drain pipe is connected to,
taking with it any deposits blocked by the ltration mass during
ltering.
“Rinse” position: in this position, the water is drained into the
drain pit after being ltered. The aim is to remove the rst cycle
of ltered water and the position is used to clean the ltering
material (when the system is being started up, immediately after
having loaded the ltering material in the lter, or after it has been
changed).

clearray pro3tect™ (wHere expected).
The Clearray Pro3tect™ system helps to disinfect and purify water,
thus reducing the need for chemical products.
The Clearray Pro3tect™ system operates automatically and is
dependent on activation of the ltration pump during the lter-
ing cycle; it remains o when the hydromassage is on; Clearray
Pro3tect™ begins operating once again 40 minutes after switch-
ing o the aforementioned functions (where a ltering cycle is
active).
Hydromassage activation
This function is activated by pressing the “Pump” button
(display B) or the
button (display A1/A2) (activation is also sig-
nalled by the respective LED - display B - which may also be ashing;
on displays A1/A2, the button briey lights up blue, then returns to
white).
To activate the function:
- briey press the “Pump”
button (display A1) to turn pump
1 on/o (the button briey lights up blue, then returns to white);
- press the “Pump”
button (display A2) to turn pump 2 on/o
(the button briey lights up blue, then returns to white);
- press the “Pump”
button once (display B) to turn on pump
1; press it again to turn on pump 2. Press the button a third
time to turn o pump 1 and a fourth time to turn o pump 2.
