Before connecting the hose, check the connect-
ing element and the rubber rings. The hose must
be replaced if there are signs of fissures, cracks
or wear.
During use, do not squeeze, bend or twist the
hose.
Caution: Hose and pressure regulator. Figure is
designed only for demonstration purposes

Gas hose description
DE/AT - PVC hose in accordance with EN 16436-
1 2014, DIN 4815-2. 6.5 x 3.5 mm, 1/4" LH brass
threaded bushing. Length 0.8 m.
CH - PVC hose in accordance with DIN 4815-1.
6.3 mm, 1/4" LH brass threaded bushing. Length
0.80 m.
LU - PVC hose in accordance with EN 16436-1
2014. 8 mm PVC hose, L = 0.8 m and 2 hose
clips.
SE/HU/CZ/SK/NL/SI/IS - hose type
IS03821:2010. 8 mm ID rubber hose, L = 0.80 m,
+ 2 hose clips
DK/ES/BG - hose type IS03821:2010.
11500 mmm ID rubber hose, L = 0.80 m, + 2 hose
clips

Storage, transportation
Storing outside
When not in use, cover the grill with a weather-
proof cover. Allow the grill to cool down com-
pletely before covering.
Storing in closed rooms
Remove the gas tank and store outside.
Transport
When dispatching, try to use the original packag-
ing, if possible.
When transporting gas tanks, the national regu-
lations are to be observed.
Troubleshooting
In many cases, small defects can lead to a malfunc-
tion. You will usually be able to deal with these your-
self. Please consult the following table before con-
tacting the service department. This may save you a
lot of effort and quite often money.

Cleaning the
grill.
Wipe down stainless steel surfaces
with soap and water. Do not use
sharp objects or aggressive cleaning
agents.
Cleaning the
grilling rack.
Clean the racks with a grill brush with
brass bristles (not steel bristles). Do
not use sharp objects or aggressive
cleaning agents. Brush the grilling
rack with a little vegetable oil to pre-
vent corrosion.
Cleaning the
grease trap
Wipe the grease trap with soap and
water. Do not use sharp objects or
aggressive cleaning agents.
Clean the
burners.
Clean the burners with a soft brush
or blow them out with compressed
air. Clean out blocked holes using
pipe cleaners or wire.

Error/Fault Cause Remedy
You can smell gas. Is the gas connection leaking? Checking the seals – p. 38; Close
the gas tank valve; Immediately re-
place defective parts.
Regulator opened? Set the regulator to OFF.
Burner does not ignite. Gas tank empty? Replace the gas tank.
Tank valve closed? Open tank valve.
Burners contaminated? Clean the burners.
Ignition battery empty? Replace the battery.
