Unlike traditional sand or diatomaceous earth (DE) filters, these cartridge filters utilize a removable filter cartridge element to collect debris and suspended particles from the water. This design simplifies maintenance and eliminates the need for backwashing, making them a convenient choice for pool and spa owners.

Function Description

The primary function of the Jandy CS Filter is to purify pool and spa water by removing dirt, debris, and other suspended particles. Water enters the filter tank and is directed through the filter cartridge. As water flows through the cartridge, debris is trapped on its surface, while clean water passes through the central filter core and exits the filter through the lower manifold, returning to the swimming pool or spa.

The filtration process is continuous as long as the pump is operating. Over time, as debris accumulates on the cartridge surface, the pressure inside the filter will gradually rise, and the water flow to the pool will diminish. Usage Features
