Pull out about 4-6 inches (10 to 15 cm) of the
bobbin thread and place both threads under
the presser foot toward the rear of the
machine.

Raise the bobbin thread gently by pulling up
the needle thread.

• Drawing up bobbin thread
Raise the presser foot. Hold the needle thread
lightly with your left hand and rotate the
handwheel counterclockwise, toward you, for
one complete turn.
