Why does the needle thread keep breaking on my Janome Sewing Machine?

The needle thread may break for several reasons. Ensure the needle thread is threaded correctly and that the needle thread tension isn't too tight. A bent or blunt needle can also cause this, so replace it if necessary. Also, check that the needle is correctly inserted. Before you start sewing, make sure both the needle and bobbin threads are positioned under the presser foot.
