Correcting Distorted Stretch Patterns
The sewing results of the stretch patterns may vary
depending upon the sewing conditions, such as
sewing speed, type of the fabric, number of layers etc.
Always test sew on a scrap piece of the fabric that you
wish to use.
If stretch stitch patterns are distorted, correct it with
the feed balancing dial.
q Feed balancing dial
w Neutral position
e Setting mark
Example: Pattern #29
(A): If the pattern is compressed, turn the feed
balancing dial in the direction of “+.
(B): If the pattern is drawn out, turn the feed balancing
dial in the direction of “–.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Removing the light bulb
Make sure the power switch is turned off.
To change the light bulb, wait until the light bulb has
cooled down.
1 Open face plate cover.
2 Pull out the light bulb.

w Bulb socket
e Light bulb
r Base
Attaching the light bulb
3 To insert the light bulb in the lamp socket, match
the base on the light bulb with the lamp socket
holes.
4 Close face plate cover.
